Great little video 🙂 I’ve been fighting Fatty Liver for some time now and take several supplements, ie; Silymarine, Fish Oil (Omega 3), Vitamin E and others… My problem is still hidden in some of the foods, I eat, like Multi-grain bread and carbs from various sources. I find it very difficult to get away from sugar as it’s in so many foods. This video has given me a new tack on the same problem… Although I’ve begun growing my own Broccoli and Alfalfa Sprouts, I am guilty of not eating enough green veggies… Thanks again for sharing this info 🙂

will coconut sugar or stevia help any? no sugar is tough

    1. // Reply

I’ve researched and a local organic honey on occasion would be a better choice.

    2. // Reply

      Have berries. 1/4 – 1/2 a cup.
No sugar is only tough when you eat it regularly and thus are addicted to it. I haven’t eaten sugar (besides fruit) for over 3 years. The cravings go away. For me it was after the first few weeks. For others it might be different. Try it. Diseases are tougher than no sugar. You have to decide what’s more important to you.

stevia is ok.. honey and coconut sugar have a lot of sugar on it

Usually, the carbohydrates intake happens to be high since it forms the staple part. That, with a added protein and minerals is good for those who do physical labour. But this is not so in other cases. Here the problem lies in balancing the required intake of equal amounts of food materials. This calls for less intake of carbohydrates resulting in less triglycerides. Simply to cut down intake of rice, wheat, potato etc.

Keeping my LDL cholesterol down while eating keto how does it work. I m planning a liver cleanse soon. But I worry about the bad cholesterol because I’m not eating oatmeal any more.

    1. // Reply

Theresa Brewer DON’T worry about cholesterol. Cholesterol is of no concern to enlightened professionals. The danger is when your body gets inflamed from sugars and grains and beans. DO keto by all means. You should watch Dr Berry’s video “can I eat too much fat on keto?”

    2. // Reply

Also don’t waste your money on a liver cleanse, it can heal and cleanse itself just by you switching to keto

How does stress play a part of this insulin resistance issue? Or is food the only attributors? I have elevated liver enzymes and i have chronic fatigue, inflamation in joints (and all over) pain. My doc says come back in a few months for another test. Heart attacks run in my family. i feel waiting a few months is taking more risk of becoming worse. I have cut my carbs, and use of sugar and have started some Yoga… but my job is very stressful. If Im under stress, does this make the situation worse? Doesn’t the body produce more insulin when it is under stress?

      Great video very informative…thank you.

I don’t believe eating vegetables is in any way essential to this and have never seen any real evidence to that effect. What is needed is to drastically reduce insulin stimulating foods which are basically sugar and starch and keeping protein to actual needs. That mean of necessity that you have to eat a lot of FAT in order to get sufficient energy. That diet – LC/HF – will reverse fatty liver, vegetables optional.

Salim Morgan you’re right about the healthy fats yes. But you’re wrong about vegetables. Can they do it alone? No. Can they hurt us? Also no. Can they HELP heal us? Absolutely

    2. // Reply

I changed my life by eating veggies

Salim Morgan You’re absolutely right, in fact; Dr. Berry is on ketogenic, too. He uses the carnivore method: all meat

Lilac Milkshake 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 8 oz block of regular cream cheese, 6 oz heavy cream and Stevia to taste; blend it all together, taste test it and freeze it for a couple hours. I got 5 servings out of it, if you want more double the quantities. If its not enough chocolate for you, use 3 tablespoons

Ok, so my Gastroenterologist said to increase my activity level and go vegetarian. I’m fine with that, but when you exercise more, you rev up your appetite. How do you manage the hunger in a healthy way??

Refined sugar and white starch is the issue here. American kids eat cereal full of sugar, starch, sugar first thing in the morning. Mack and cheese and fried foods and when they are older they nothing but issues later in in life. We need healthy starch!

    1. // Reply

Gabriela One there’s no such thing as a healthy starch period. The only “healthy starch” is NO starch
